A Homespitality™ Luminary is a discerning host who has demonstrated full embodiment of the six essential qualities of refined homespitality™.

Mastery of Craft

• Achieve the "Homespitality™ Luminary" credential by completing our online course and passing the final examination on food, wine, and hospitality techniques. The exam requires an 80% passing score (unlimited number of attempts allowed), setting a meaningfully higher standard than what is typically found in commercial dining today.

Homespitality™ Pledge

• A commitment to the timeless principle articulated by Fernand Point: “To receive a guest is to assume responsibility for their happiness for the entire time they remain under your roof.” The pledge is completed online as part of gaining access to the course and exam.

Optional: A Personal Touch

• The presentation of a  homespitality project sample and menu of one’s own creation, reflecting individual taste, creativity, and care.
