NRA Instructor Course (Pistol >> AND << Home Firearm Safety Instructor)

This course was great. It is run very professionally and Bernard is a great instructor. This course is demanding, with long days and lots of information to retain, but the way that Bernard presents it and push you to succeed is what makes it a great class. Bernard will make you earn your certification but he is very fair and willing to help you earn your certification. I know my future train will be with Bernard and yours should be too!!

Going into Bernard's class, being that it was my first NRA program, I didn't know what to expect. I took from the class so much, and am a better, more knowledgable person for taking it. I learned a great deal. Bernard's attitude and commitment towards his students and the quality of education they receive from his class is admirable. He really takes pride in his work, and it most certainly shows. Prior to taking his instructor's course, I thought being an instructor would be a breeze. My eyes are open now, and it won't be so simple. I don't know what I was actually thinking, when I thought I could be an instructor without taking his course. I must've been crazy. Of course, i will need actual experience applying what I've learned in his instructor's course, but I really feel up to the task now. I went into the class with the notion that after I've completed it, I wouldn't care to take anymore course. I was wrong. I was completely blown away. Surprisingly, Bernard's course makes me want to enroll into more classes. When the time becomes available, I most certainly will do so. Thank you for letting me take your class!

Once again I have taken a Instructor course that was very professionally presented. It was on track throughout the course. All of the material was covered in detail with lots of hands on demonstrations as to how to present, examine, unload, reload and make safe the different types of firearms one might encounter as part of a Home Firearms Safety Class. Many insights in firearms handling were also shared based on prior experiences that enhanced the learning process and caveats on things to be aware of.

The NRA Basic Pistol Instructor Course is some hard work for both you and the instructor, but worth it. My class had (7) seasoned adults from various back grounds with a true cross section of the America. The days were long but proved to be very informative for me. I am glad I took the class and I will be taking more classes from Bernard in the future.

I have taken several NRA Instructor classes from Bernard and he is a great instructor. He does not just "give away" NRA Instructor certifications. He makes you work for them. He makes sure you know the material and can get the information across to the students. I have enjoyed all the classes I have taken from Bernard and believe I will be taking many more NRA Instructor classes from him.

Bernard was an outstanding Instructor that had the unique ability of packing 20+ hours of training in two days very enjoyable. The content was interesting, interactive, and inspiring! Intuitive and innovative were two takeaways from Bernard's success and I hope to carry on what he's taught - a true professional.

Bernard and Dan were by far the best instructors that i have ever had. Very knowledgeable and experienced with teaching others how to be teachers themselves. This class was exceptional. I walked away very confident and ready to start teaching my own classes. Bernard, still to this day goes out of his way to help me with teaching questions and various other issues, and i took the class 10 months ago. HIGHLY recommend choosing this class over all others.

I decided it was time to get my instructor's certification, and chose Bernard based on the web description and testimonials as you find here. It was a great decision! Bernard did a fantastic job! He is extremely knowledgeable, an enthusiastic and attentive trainer, and he kept things entertaining but serious as befits the subject. I highly recommend this program!
